McLaren 570S Spider set to sizzle on Saint Valentine’s Day

Hand-assembled in Woking, England, this one-of-a-kind McLaren 570S Spider was commissioned in honour of Saint Valentine by one incurable romantic with a love of red roses. The lucky owner will receive their gift on Valentine’s Day; in keeping with tradition, the secret admirer has not yet revealed his identity so any clues as to who might have commissioned this beautiful present would be most welcome!

Beyond the red exterior beats a heart of... well, even more red… and black. The sophisticated cabin blends exceptional levels of craftsmanship, quality and technology, hand-stitched leathers sitting side-by-side with a touchscreen through which climate control and infotainment are managed.

This very special Spider features a combination of Apex Red and Jet Black Nappa Leathers and Carbon Black Alcantara®, all selected by McLaren’s interior design team, throughout the interior and even featuring on the steering wheel. Indian Red seatbelts from McLaren Special Operations (MSO) complete the ‘red’ enhancements inside the car. Outside, red brake calipers and personalised ‘Color Edition’ P ZERO tyres from McLaren technical partner, Pirelli, add to the sense of occasion.

The Valentine’s 570S Spider boasts an athletic exterior appearance, with instantly recognisable McLaren styling cues such as a teardrop-shaped cabin, unique-in-class dihedral doors (also known as “butterfly doors”) and distinctive LED lighting front and rear. The two-piece retractable hardtop is constructed of lightweight composite panels that are significantly more weather-and fade-resistant than fabric. The roof of this car is in optional Dark Palladium rather than body colour. Not only does this 570S Spider look stunning, it is extremely comfortable too, as befits a sophisticated, luxurious convertible.

This particular 570S Spider may be spoken for, but others are available. Full information about the 570S Spider – in almost all its guises – is available at cars.mclaren.com, while those wanting something more bespoke can turn to McLaren Special Operations for an almost limitless range of colours, other enhancement options – such as material upgrades – or even ultra-limited or one-off models.
