MG returns to Qatari market after signing partnership with Auto Class Cars


SAIC Motor and Auto Class Cars have announced the return of the MG brand to Qatar after signing a new partnership agreement.

According to the new partnership, Auto Class Cars, a subsidiary of NBK, will be the authorized distributor of MG, adding more brands from the renowned SAIC Motor portfolio. The new partnership between the international car manufacturer SAIC Motor and the NBK subsidiary, Auto Class Cars, confirms that MG is returning to Qatar with a refreshed new line-up of models aimed at meeting the demands of today’s modern motorists.

Auto Class Cars will introduce the new model line-up of sedans and SUVs that will go on sale in a state of the art showroom strategically located on Salwa Road that will also provide an array of services for new and existing customers of the rejuvenated MG brand.

MG, a British born car maker, established in 1924 and renowned globally for its historic models, awards and achievements. The brand has recently launched two new models in the Middle East, the MG RX5 and MG ZS, and is set to introduce further models to the line up later this year. MG is benefiting from heavy investment from its parent company, SAIC Motor, which was listed in the 2017 Forbes Fortune 500 list for the 13th consecutive year, ranking #41 overall and 7th amongst all global automakers – its highest ever ranking.
