On behalf of Middle East Airlines, Mrs. Carolina Mahmoud said: “On behalf of Middle East Airlines, it’s a pleasure to welcome you once again to the MEA Training and Conference Center for the second time as we proudly host the e-MotorShow press conference, promoting innovation, sustainability, and a cleaner future for Lebanon. At MEA, and as part of our corporate social responsibility and Chairman Mr. Mohammad El Hout’s vision — a vision that positions MEA as a pillar of national development beyond aviation, we always encourage organizations to host their events in Lebanon, and the MEA Training Center stands as one of the most unique and advanced facilities in the region, reinforcing our country’s role as a destination for creativity and innovation. Events like the e-MotorShow remind us that Lebanon, despite its challenges, remains a country of creativity, talent, and resilience. Whether through electric mobility on the ground or sustainable aviation in the skies, we all share the same mission, to support the Lebanese community and shape a brighter and more sustainable future for Lebanon.

Mr. Salim Saad, advisor to the Association of Global Automotive Manufacturers’ Representatives in Lebanon (AIA), also delivered a speech in which he stated that the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Exhibition represents an important milestone in raising Lebanese consumers’ awareness of the ongoing developments in the automotive sector. He explained that the Association is committed to applying the highest safety standards and ensuring the protection of consumer rights by providing after-sales services

in full compliance with the standards imposed by manufacturers on their authorized dealers — including maintenance, warranty execution, recall campaigns, software updates, supply of genuine spare parts, as well as the servicing, replacement, and reconditioning of lithium batteries by qualified specialists in accordance with factory requirements. Mr. Saad emphasized the need to equip the Civil Defense to handle incidents caused by the storage of damaged lithium batteries, and to upgrade firefighting equipment in related facilities, warning that the absence of such measures poses a threat to public safety. He also warned against the state of chaos prevailing in the Lebanese market due to the lack of enforcement of Article 5 of the Competition Law, which guarantees consumer rights by protecting the market from random imports of new vehicles that are not guaranteed by the manufacturer and consequently are not subject to periodic updates. In conclusion, he reaffirmed the AIA’s commitment to supporting progress in the automotive sector, in the interest of the national economy, environmental protection, and road

safety.

Mr. Gilbert Tegho, CEO of the e-MotorShow® Middle East added: “The e-MotorShow® Middle East goes beyond electric vehicles — it embodies change, resilience, and hope. Beirut, chosen as the host city, symbolizes inspiration and strength, reflecting Lebanon’s determination to rise and lead the region toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future”. The message resonated with pride and optimism, portraying Lebanon as a nation ready to embrace innovation and drive meaningful transformation. He also extended his gratitude to the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Fayez Rasamny, and to the Association of Importers of Automobiles in Lebanon (AIA) for their efforts and support in making the event a success, as well as to MEA for offering a special 10% discount promo code on travel tickets for international visitors.

At the end of the Press Conference, e-EcoSolutions invited all visitors interested in attending the e-MotorShow® Middle East to register online in order to cut the queues at the door and also invited the Media to the Opening Ceremony on 11 November 2025 which will be a Media Day (no public access).
