Elaf Motors, the authorised distributor of Changan cars in the country, picked up an anticipated win at the Qatar Car of the Year (QCOTY) 2022 Awards ceremony hosted by Maqina Magazine.
The UNI-K, Changan’s newest entry in the SUV market, secured the title of ‘Best Premium 4X4 SUV’, beating several other automobile brands in this category. The award ceremony took place on the 21st of December 2022 and was attended by key players and influencers in the Qatar automobile industry.

Flaunting the new DNA of Changan’s ‘Vision-V’ design language, the UNI-K has some notable styling cues, including a futuristic front grille design, Y-shaped daytime running lights, pop-out electronic door handles, and stylish 21-inch wheels, all of which set the SUV firmly apart from its competition. The rear section of the UNI-K is uniquely fascinating with its coupe-SUV styling and rear spoiler mounted with twin vertical brake lights. Below the spoiler is a pair of sleek taillights merging with the light bar on the tailgate.
The interior of the UNI-K is equally mesmerising with plush leather furnishings and dominated by a 12.3-inch LCD touchscreen that supports gesture control and over-the-air upgrades. The instrument cluster is also an LCD that provides information on tire pressure, navigation, speed, multimedia, transmission, etc.
