Skyline Automotive, a Jaidah group company launched the All-New Geely Azkarra on the 10 December and the first cars were delivered during the month of December to their owners. The All-New Azkarra represent a bold step for Geely as a new challenger in the Qatar automotive industry.
Perfect Blend of East & West
From its very conception, Geely's global team of over 1000 designers from across the world envisioned Azkarra to be a perfect blend of East and West, giving birth to a new trend in global automotive design.

Azkarra's front fascia offers a bold, assertive presence, with a raised hood and pronounced grill cutting an unmistakable figure in any environment. Geely's iconic Expanding Cosmos grille is flanked by accentuated deep-set intelligent LED headlamps that set it apart in a crowded field. A harmonious and elegant design lends an air of grace and tranquility to Azkarra's interior Air vents stretch from both sides of the instrument panel and push into the doors, enhancing the perceived transverse space. Fluid interlacing layers fold and twist to enhance the visual depth throughout the cabin. The most eye-catching feature is the 12.3 inch HD central touch screen infotainment panel and 7-inch LCD instrument panel, both of which seamlessly integrate into the high tech dashboard with ambient lighting that emulates wood grain textures.
Powertrain
Azkarra comes with a powerful and efficient 1.5 turbo direct injection engine matched to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5TD engine was jointly developed by Geely and Volvo. offering a maximum power output of '177hp and max torque of 265Nm, combined with a 48V EMS "Electric Motor Synergy offering an extra power output of 13hp and extra torque of 35 NM. When combined together, this enables a maximum power output of 190hp and 300Nm, whilst delivering fuel savings of up to 15%, with an average fuel consumption of 6.3L/100km.
ADAS Intelligent-Drive
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Intelligent Drive capabilities offered by Azkarra include an array of innovative technologies. The comprehensive 360-degree full view camera and radar configuration allows Azkarra to see and track objects all around the vehicle. This enables Azkarra to offer state-of-the art Driver Assistance systems such as AEB emergency brake assist with Pedestrian Recognition, full-speed ACC intelligent adaptive cruise control at speeds of up to 150km h, as well as Lane Departure Waning and Lane Keeping Assist. Azkarra even comes with SLIF - "Speed Limit Information Function that can detect and read traffic signs and alert drivers to changes in the road speed limits.
