In the birthplace of Italy’s greatest automotive legends, a new name joins the story. Today, Giamaro Automobili officially launches, introducing a new force in the world of ultra-high-performance motoring — a brand defined by vision, soul, and technical audacity.

Rooted in the traditions of Modena’s Motor Valley yet uncompromisingly forward-looking, Giamaro Automobili emerges with a bold statement of intent: a ground-up engineered V12 quad-turbo engine, a fully functioning first hypercar, and a category-creating second model that redefines the performance landscape.

“We founded Giamaro Automobili to create something rare, authentic, and unrepeatable — something with soul, courage, and clarity of purpose,” said founders Giacomo and Pierfrancesco Commendatore. “For us, a car must be more than fast or beautiful. It must stir something deeper — it must transcend. It must connect with the person who lives it, becoming an extension of their identity. At the core of every Giamaro creation lies the brand’s defining innovation: a completely new, 6,988 cc quad-turbo V12 engine, designed in a 120° “hot V” configuration.

Developed entirely in-house from a blank sheet, this powertrain is far more than an engineering milestone—it is a manifesto of power and sophistication, the purest expression of Giamaro’s identity. Delivering 1,670 PS at 8,500 rpm and 1,556 Nm of maximum torque, it unleashes a surging crescendo of mechanical emotion. In its most extreme configuration, it climbs to 2,157 PS at 9,000 rpm and 2,008 Nm of peak torque, releasing a raw, visceral, and primal force.

Rather than chase the tropes of contemporary hypercars, Katla transcends them. Its design follows no trend, answers to no nostalgia — it pursues emotion, power, elegance. Its proportions are deliberately rear-biased, a visual echo of the V12’s physical dominance. The surfaces blend taut tension with athletic grace, shifting from sinuous to sharp in a heartbeat. From certain angles, it looks almost too powerful to stand still — designed to feel fast, even at rest.

Every detail carries aerodynamic intent, guided by a drag coefficient of just 0.33. Square front intakes nod to jet fighter afterburners. The LED DRLs amplify the technological presence, framing the experience with piercing clarity.

Weighing just 170 kg, it delivers over 40 kNm/deg of torsional rigidity and more than 16 kN/mm of flexural stiffness - a silent force that shapes every moment with absolute precision.

Beneath its surface, Katla is a symphony of precision. All suspension components — double wishbones, arms, uprights, third-element links, even the rear supports — are CNC-machined from solid 6062 T6 aluminum alloy.

This high-strength, low-weight composition reduces unsprung mass and elevates steering clarity, letting the road speak directly to your fingertips.

The suspension is active and intelligent. Electronically adjustable dampers work in real time, adapting to the surface, speed, and driving mode — just like the fully adaptive rear wing, which continuously fine-tunes downforce and efficiency. Ride height adjusts automatically to balance aerodynamic efficiency and everyday usability.

Two central third springs — one at the front axle and one at the rear — provide near-infinite adjustment of suspension settings, ride height, and dynamic balance, both front-to-rear and side-to-side. Originating directly from motorsport engineering, this advanced setup allows for precise tuning toward a more performance-oriented, responsive driving dynamic, all without sacrificing comfort or the emotional engagement that defines the Katla experience.

The five driving modes bring Katla’s dual personality to life. Standard and Wet smooth the ride for long-distance composure. Performance and Top Speed sharpen the throttle, tighten damping, and unleash response. And with the Individual mode, every element — from ride to gearbox mapping — can be precisely dialled in to your unique rhythm.

A 7-speed Cima AMT rear transaxle gearbox, available with paddle shifters or a manual configuration, delivers rapid, rear-biased shifts. A mechanical limited-slip differential enhances traction, delivering optimal torque distribution at all times. In parallel, Giamaro engineers are developing an 11-speed electro-actuated dual-clutch transmission — pushing the frontier of responsiveness.

Stopping power is pure theatre. Carbon-ceramic discs — 420 mm up front with 10-piston callipers, 410 mm at the rear with 4-piston units — offer fade-resistant force lap after lap.

And to harness this force, a unique three-key system defines access to this experience:

• White key: a controlled power range between 400 and 800 PS, for calm and confident driving;

• Black key: 1,670 PS to unleash the car’s full potential — dynamic and uncompromising;

• Red key: absolute, unfiltered power— 2,157 PS unleashed, ready to respond to every impulse with instinct

and ferocity.

Albor: A Vision From Another World

Alongside Katla, Giamaro Automobili also revealed Albor — the second model in its growing vehicle range.

Though early in development, Albor is confirmed for production and presents a bold vision of what elevated performance can look like.

The name is inspired by Albor Tholus, a remote volcano on Mars — a symbol of exploration and venturing beyond the known. It’s a deliberate choice: looking beyond Earth to define what does not yet exist here.

Albor fully embodies Giamaro’s pioneering spirit: creating automobiles that break free from convention and chart new, free, and visionary paths. Not an evolution of what we already know, but a leap forward—beyond the limits of the familiar.

Albor is an elevated hypercar — commanding in stance, provocative in design. Its flanks and roofline are sculpted with wide air channels that breathe purpose and motion. Its silhouette tapers with dramatic elegance, standing taller than its peers while remaining unmistakably Giamaro in posture and intent.

Its proportions are unorthodox yet seductive — rising above tradition to define a new form. Wide-shouldered and tightly drawn, with dramatic ground clearance and architectural surfaces, Albor doesn’t fit into any category. It creates its own: ultra-performance with an elevated presence.

Beneath its dramatic body, Albor shares the same quad-turbo V12 and modular carbon monocoque as Katla, reinforcing Giamaro’s cohesive vision for soul-led performance.

“Albor is a different expression of the same core belief,” said Commendatore. “That hypercars can be personal, daring, and full of soul. It’s Giamaro — seen from a higher perspective.”

Conceived as an extraterrestrial vision of performance and design, Albor rejects the boundaries of the conventional to embrace the unknown.
