Jaidah Automotive delivers Chevrolet vehicles in support of Ocean Rent a Car fleet expansion




Jaidah Automotive, the exclusive dealer of Chevrolet in the State of Qatar, has recently delivered fifty units of the 2020 Chevrolet Spark to Ocean Rent a Car as part of the rental company’s fleet expansion project.


To mark the successful partnership, a signing ceremony was held at the Ocean Rent a Car premises, attended by various VIPs and dignitaries, including Mohamed Eyad Gabr el-Bordeny, General Manager of Ocean Rent a Car, Samer Al Saleh, General Sales Manager at Jaidah Automotive, and Amr Mohamed, Fleet Sales Supervisor at Jaidah Automotive.


Samer Al Saleh, General Sales Manager at Jaidah Automotive stated: “We are constantly trying to meet market demands in Qatar with our dynamic and practical cars. The expansion of the Chevrolet Spark’s presence in the country is helping to meet our customers’ needs and we look forward to new private and corporate deals in the future. Ocean Rent a Car is a leading, Qatar-based company which specializes in luxury and exotic cars and offers short and long-term leases for individuals and corporate customers. The company has seen significant growth across the country and now has 300 vehicle units in its fleet thanks to the recent purchase of Chevrolet Spark. It aims to further increase its fleet to 500 vehicle units by the end of 2020.


Ocean Rent a Car aims to support the automotive industry in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2022, where an estimated 1.5 million people will be visiting Qatar from around the world over the duration of the tournament.
